Dr. Miloš Rakić
Dr Miloš Rakić is a medical doctor and Director of Healthway Medical Centre in Ħaż-Żebbuġ, Malta. He graduated in medicine from the University of Niš, Serbia, in 2003 and completed a postgraduate qualification in cardiology in 2010.
His earlier training included a two-year placement in cardiovascular medicine and cardiothoracic surgery in Sremska Kamenica (1993–1995). Before moving to Malta, he worked for nine years at a prestigious hospital in Serbia.
In Malta, he served as a Resident Medical Officer at St. James Hospital. In 2016, he undertook a successful medical assignment at Corradino Correctional Facility on behalf of St. James Capua Hospital in Sliema.
He was also engaged for three months with MOAS search-and-rescue operations off North Africa, contributing to team efforts that rescued thousands of migrants. His onboard medical responsibilities included caring for pregnant women, newborns and critically ill patients.
Dr Rakić is registered with the Medical Council of Malta under registration number 3509.
